About

Hello, I’m Hyunmin Lee.

I am an undergraduate student at Korea University, interested in neural links, virtual reality, and the interface between the brain and digital systems. My long-term goal is to study technologies that can narrow the gap between biological cognition and artificial intelligence.

Right now, I am especially interested in two directions. The first is understanding high-level cognitive ability by using EEG and other biological signals as indirect windows into neural circuits. The second is building generative models that use biological constraints and circuit-level priors to predict, generate, and eventually inverse-design brain activation patterns in response to external stimuli.

Ultimately, I want to better understand the mechanisms of the brain and use that understanding as a foundation for future work on neural links and immersive virtual environments.

If you don’t give up, there is a tomorrow and a future.
